Lido Key

North of Siesta Key is another Florida haven very close to St. Armand’s Circle. It’s called Lido Key and it has long been considered the most private, quiet and secure neighborhoods in the area. Those who have purchased properties made a wise real estate choice and those who need a deep water dock find Lido Key the perfect choice. In fact, most home owners sip coffee while inspecting the on-goings at the marina  from a distance.

To date, the homes in Lido Key are a highly interesting mix of simple 400 sq. ft. condo units to luxurious seven-figure penthouses complete with valet and concierge services. The one common thing about this dwelling places, no matter how affordable or how glaringly ostentatious, is their beach access averaging at 130 feet of water frontage.

Most of the two-bedroom condominium prices start at $465,000, and this already have1,200 square feet of comfort, fireplace and spacious kitchen, and the world-class structural materials such as marble and granite.  These types of houses are common in Lido Key and visitors driving or sailing from Sarasota through Siesta Key could attest to this real estate showcase. Apart from the residential spectacle on architecture, there are also simpler homes and condos, hotels, shops and restaurants in Lido Key. The one thing in common for all of these is their accessibility to the famed pristine beaches.

Speaking of beaches, Lido Key has great public beaches with facilities nearby that have affordable package rates. The Lido Public Beach, for one, already offers parking, cabana rentals and concessions which make group or family visits a pleasurable adventure.

Going south means finding the South Lido natural park, a hundred acre area free of pesticides and just the quiet yet interesting ambiance for outdoor pursuits. Apart from complete picnic facilities among shady foliage, there are volleyball courts, nature trails fit for jogging and walking, as well as secluded areas for a restful break from the beach.

While it’s true that swimming isn’t recommended in the Lido and Siesta Keys, the opportunities to go dolphin-and-manatee watching makes up for this. Click on the photos to see for yourself the adventure with these marine animals when you’re in South Lido natural park. Apart from these captured photos of the sea creatures, we also have ready information regarding the magical experience you could get at Lido Key, as well as real estate potentials to think about. We have arranged as well the numerous details to keep you posted of the place’s growing charm, particularly its proximity to the best beaches, St. Armand’s Circle, best real estate buys and others.

We are keen on continuing John Ringling’s move in 1920 when he purchased the Keys to bridge them with the mainland. Over the decades, the development and increase of residents have somehow brought in wonders to Lido Key, making it a lively bustle of human endeavors.

Now, we are keen on connecting the magical possibilities of you living permanently in Lido, Bird Key or St. Armand’s.
